The Canadian Junior Cup (formerly TCA Youth Championships) has emerged as the premiere Junior Curling event in the world attracting the national champions and top teams from across Canada and around the world.  Canadian Junior Cup runs from December 28th to December 30th at Oshawa Curling Club.

In our effort to create a world level competition experience for the teams we are looking for volunteers to do timing and scoring.  We have 10 draws on 8 sheets over 3 days that we need help with.

Great for people who want to come see some great curling and be a part of the action.  Also, a great chance for high school curlers to get involved and earn volunteer hours they need to graduate.

If you can join our team please contact Courtney for details.  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

50th Anniversary Bonspiel Feedback & Photos

Hello All Tam Heather Members,

The 50th Anniversary Bonspiel is now history. It will certainly go down in Tam Heather lore as yet another highly successful event. The strength of Tam is in its people. It takes a small army of managers, staff and volunteers to guide a club through 50 years, to be able to celebrate such a milestone, and do so successfully.

We still have two sheets available for this Saturday's, December 2nd.

Please contact Pam Elliott directly if you are interested.

Hello Tam Heather Curlers,

Tam Heather hosted one of the Ontario Curling Council's Club Coach Courses on November 5 & 6.  We had 5 of our own Tam members participate and complete the course.  Our list of qualified curling coaches continues to grow.

Please see the lovely thank you letter given to Tam Heather from the Ontario Curling Council, for hosting this event.  We look forward to the next opportunity to work with the OCC in the future.

Great job done by the Tam Fam!  Good Curling!

OCC Thank You Letter 2023

Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
