Tennis at Tam Heather
Tam Heather has a new state of the art four court, year-round permanently covered by a fabric dome. Playing in a dome provides ideal playing conditions since there are no wind and sun distractions and temperature and humidity are controlled year-round. Competitive men and women and non-competitive mixed play is available. Tam Heather is proud to have Lionel Eli, one of the highest rated coaches in Canada, as its Club Professional. Lionel and his team conduct a thorough junior tennis program in both the summer and winter. Adult lessons are also available. Non-members may book courts on a pay as you play basis.
The Tennis Academy at Tam Heather
Lionel Eli is the owner/operator of the Tennis Academy at Tam Heather. Lionel has been coaching children and adults for over 20 years. Lionel holds a CTA3 (level 4 candidate) and a USPTA Professional Certification. Lionel has played in the Davis Cup for his native country, Barbados, and has also coached/captained the Davis Cup and Federation Cup teams for that country.
Many of Lionel's students in the High Performance category have earned tennis scholarships in the US, and have gained National and International rankings in their age groups.

Ladies - Evening
This Ladies evening league plays on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m.
Day Ladies Competitive (A)
The Day Ladies competitive league plays on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m.
Mens - Evening
This Tuesday night men's house league has two different groups - A & B. These two groups alternate weekly start times between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Mens - Evening
The Mens competitive league plays on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Mixed Seniors
The Mixed Seniors league plays on Tuesday afternoons at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. or Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

Prime - $15.00 per hour - Mon - Fri, 7 pm - Midnight, Sat & Sun, 9 am - Midnight

Cost of renting one tennis court per hour is:
Winter: $27.50 plus HST. Summer: $12.00 plus HST. (Restricted hours)
Visa or MasterCard is required upon booking and there is 48 hour advance booking time.
Hours of booking: Winter: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 9 pm - Saturday 9 am - 3 pm - Sunday 9 am - 3 pm
